The Bulk Export program was designed for high speed export or recovery of FileNet data for all current and previous releases of FileNet P8 Content Manager including 3.x/4x/5x. Data is exported by class (aka types) with all available metadata fields to XML, CSV or flat data table. Simple installation and configuration enables zero hour data exports to take place.

Bulk Export and Data Recovery Program for FileNet P8 Content Management Systems
Key Features
The Bulk Export and Data recovery program includes a highly functional user interface for data visualization for each document class and category in the FileNet P8 system. Once the user selects a class the data is returned in a powerful data grid capable of handling up to one million rows. The data grid will show a column for each field for the selected class and return both the system and user defined metadata including the unique identifiers for documents. From this same interface the user may apply date filter ranges to manage the amount of documents returned in one setting or create batches of metadata to process while additional extractions are currently in process. The metadata and paths to documents can be saved to XML, CSV with user defined delimiters or table direct access.
In addition to the data visualization GUI a second assembly is used to export the FileNet p8 content to your designated UNC location. This export program performs the actual work to retrieve the documents from the FileNet system which can be throttled during business hours to ensure zero daytime performance impact then increase the number of export threads during off hours. Typical extraction rate is 1,200+ documents per hour using one thread with limiting factors being size of documents, network speed and disk I/O. Optionally you may configure multiple extraction clients each with their own variable number of threads to handle even the largest of FileNet P8 systems within short timelines.
The data recovery functionality will recover documents and metadata from point in time backups of your P8 system, even if your system is not operational. By configuring the export assembly to recovery mode the program will reconcile the directories of P8 documents from your SAN/NAS/disk backups to the P8 databases.
Simple site licensing with no additional fees, annual support is standard 20% of purchase price.
